Hello everyone,
we are a non-profit organization called “The Morava river for Olomouc”. It was founded so we could fulfill our aim to start organizing the cruises on the Morava river in Olomouc. The Morava river flows through the historical center of Olomouc. It is possible to see many historical and dominant monuments from another perspective different from a regular pedestrian sightseeing tour. Since 2016, we also organize sightseeing tours in the historical center of Olomouc on our beer bike OLOPEDAL.
What else to say? A dock should be a busy place with a friendly atmosphere and our dock does not make an exception. It is a place where concerts, theatre plays, workshops and other cultural events take place.

Captain
The captain Šimon Pelikán is the chairman of our non-profit organization. He graduated from Palacký University at the Department of Recreology, Tourism and Recreation Management. His passion for boats has begun in his childhood. He was a successful junior representant of the Czech Republic in whitewater kayaking. He won the first place in the World championship and the European championship. In 2010 he started to learn about bigger ships and in 2013 he participated as a sailor on a historical sailboat cruise across the Atlantic ocean from Brazil to South Africa. He holds a Skipper license which allows him to provide cruises on small vessels. He has experience with providing cruises on motor boats and sailboats in the Czech Republic and abroad. He was a member of Rafting Morava team which is how he knows well the surroundings and character of the Morava river. He has also sales and marketing experience since he worked in Yak Freestyle Company and Streetstore.
